Piharoa - Senior Leadership/Governance Teams (in development)
This course is designed specifically for exploring the value that Māori culture, language and practices can bring to individuals, organisations, and your engagement with stakeholders. There is a strong focus on corporate awareness of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, te hītori (history) of Aotearoa, the practical application of tikanga (cultural practices) in the workplace, and the opportunities for engagement with your people, organisation and stakeholders.
We will partner with you to explore the value of our reo and tikanga, and through this partnership, we will support you to achieve your organisational needs. By embarking on a journey of partnership with us, you will be amplifying the broader positive social impact that Te Wānanga o Aotearoa has been delivering for 40 years.
Te Ata Tū - Organisation-wide
A series of short courses that enables organisations to familiarise their staff with Māori cultural perspectives, values, principles, and practices. Assisting in meeting bi-cultural goals, focusing on enhancing capabilities in te ao Māori, te reo Māori, tikanga, and kaupapa Māori. Staff will gain a deeper understanding of Māori culture, improve service to Māori and other stakeholders and be able to apply knowledge in professional practices.
Tū Māia – Oranga Tamariki Exclusive
A course delivered by Te Tau Ihu o Ngā Wānanga (Te Wānanga o Raukawa, Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa) which forms part of the wider Oranga Tamariki Te Hāpai Ō strategy designed to improve outcomes for tamariki and their whānau.
